Camp Gold Hollow recognizes the dedication of our summer volunteers and offers generous stipends to offset the cost of participation.
These stipends are intended as a gesture of appreciation for their time and commitment to creating a meaningful camp experience. However, some staff may also choose to volunteer to offset camper tuition. If interested, applicants can indicate this preference in their application.
Volunteers receive room and board during training and the camp sessions. Staff do have breaks and time off, although most choose to remain on-site due to camp’s remote location.
Additionally, volunteers who attend all training workshops and complete the full summer season can receive a Completion Bonus as part of their final stipend disbursement.
Junior Counselors who have successfully completed the CIT program and received a recommendation from their CIT Director may be eligible to volunteer. Junior Counselors do not require a work permit but must complete a Volunteer Service form, signed by a parent or guardian.
