CITs (Counselors-in-Training) are the heart of camp. This leadership-based program provides opportunities for our teen campers to receive onsite training to develop their skills in camp management and youth development. We have a highly skilled CIT counselor dedicated to spending time working with this group of teens to make camp THRIVE!
This year we will be having a special weekend of training and fun where registered CIT’s will have camp all to themselves. The Camp Director and CIT Director will be overseeing the weekend where we will be getting to know each other, developing leadership skills and getting an introduction to what they can expect when being a CIT at summer camp. This weekend will include meals, supervision, training and FUN! CIT’s will arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday afternoon, May 17-19.
