Camp Fire Club Day at Camp Gold Hollow
Who: All Camp Fire clubs in the Golden Empire Council
What: Experience the magic of Camp Gold Hollow, and see what camp is all about!
When: Saturday, July 10, 9:00am to 5:15pm
Where: Camp Gold Hollow, 17183 Lake Vera-Purdon Road
Cost: $30 per person (includes lunch); two club leaders attend for free
All Camp Fire clubs in the Golden Empire Council are invited to experience the magic of Camp Gold Hollow, just outside of Nevada City.
Join us for a fun-filled day and see first hand what camp is all about: 
- swim and canoe on Lake Vera
- try different arts and crafts projects
- slide down Pine Needle Hill on a cardboard box
- make homemade ice cream
- learn archery
- play frisbee golf
- and lots more!
Our certified lifeguard, archery instructor, food-safe-certified cooks, and experienced camp leaders will provide all program materials and instruction. Read our Covid protocols for camp.
Leaders: just register, mail in payment, and enjoy your day at camp. We’ll do the rest!
Registration is $30 per person (picnic lunch included), and two club leaders attend for free. Siblings and parents/grandparents are welcome at the same rate.
Camp Gold Hollow t-shirts can be pre-ordered for $15 each, and will be ready for you to wear at camp.
Everyone should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and be ready to have fun! Additional details will be sent to you after registration.
